What to expect
After discussions on your initial visit your medical history and lifestyle is noted and the treatment designed around your specific needs and goals. In some cases it may be necessary to obtain your doctor’s permission prior to starting treatment. (All client records are stored securely). You do not need any special preparation, just sit up in a chair comfortably dressed. Soothing music plays and fragrant candles are used for relaxation. Your neck and shoulders are kneaded then fingers run through your scalp, causing blood to stimulate the scalp. This is followed by light slapping on the sides and back of the head. Oils can be used to help relaxation and help stimulate hair growth. Oil-free treatments are advisable for sensitive or oily skin types.
Age range

Aftercare
Following your session, you will be given water and asked to remain in the chair for 10 minutes to allow you to recover from the deep relaxation. Continue drinking lots of water as this flushes out toxins. Avoid alcohol and caffeine intake as they dehydrate the tissues and add toxin. Avoid strenuous exercise and do not eat a heavy meal, rest to allow your body time to rebalance.
